March Build-A-Page by Prima

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Here is a layout I made for Prima`s March BAP. I must admit that this is my first time creating a page by using a sketch and I`m rather satisfied with the result. This is the skecth from Prima`s blog:

This is the layout I made with  this cute sketch. I used two sheets of  Prima`s "Flights of Fancy" Collection. As you can see I stitched, distressed and I stamped (using the brand new clear stamps from Prima).

I secretly hope I`ll win this month`s contest but then ... there are so many pretty layouts submitted this month. We`ll see...who knows :-)

A missing tooth

Me again...

I almost forgot to share with you that my dear son Alex (6 yrs old) lost a tooth this week...lol...at this age it`s normal! After his tooth was out, he put it underneath his pillow waiting for the Tooth Fairy to come and give him a present instead...cute thought but cost us some money...lol!!!!!!!!

A layout

It`s been awhile since I last posted ....the truth is that I really have to get used to the thought I have a blog and I have to update it from time to time :-)

I made this "Sharing thoughts" layout weeks ago and I completely forgot to post it here. It`s a very simple LO but that photo I took of Alex and Arjen is so precious to me that I really wanted to keep it that way.

My new toy

Oh, I`m so happy...when I got home from work my new printer was waitng for me. I bought a new portable PINK printer yesterday and today it was delivered. I tried it aleardy and it prints perfect photos...yay!!! I`m so glad with my purchase!

Hi there and Happy Monday to all of you!!!

I have a day off today and that means I have time to post and to scrap...yay!
I created a layout a few days ago that I wanted to share here at my blog. I used Prima Marketing pattern papers. I love the new collecions of Prima and I enjoy so much playing with those papers. The page is rather simple because I didn`t use any embellishments but I hand-stitched everything you see and I decided to keep it like that so it`ll emphasize the photos and the pretty papers!

         I made the title with Cricut machine using "Songbird" cartridge!

Ribbon leaves tip

Hi there! Is everybody enjoying Tuesday? I surely am :-) !!!
I decided to post a tip about how to create quickly a ribbon leave as I made on my "Special Moments" LO created for My Creative Scrapbook.

All you need is a pair of scissors, ribbon and a lighter!

Cut a piece of the ribbon and then cut the two corners (See photo above). Fold the ribbon in two and hold it with your left hand. Then with the lighter melt the edges so they can stick to each other...be careful not to burn your fingers!!!

This is the result. You can then glue it underneath your flower!

The reveal

Today is a REVEAL day at  My Creative Scrapbook . As a Guest Designer I created five layouts, a card and I altered a photo frame. I worked with the gorgeous  Prima Strawberry Kisses collection. This month I played with the Main Kit and to tell you the truth ....it`s fabulous...full of yummie goodies!
If you know how much I enjoyed working with all the talented girls from the design team. It`s so much fun ...I had the feeling we are one big family there!!!
I`ll stop writing now and I`ll show you what I created :-). I hope you`ll enjoy my creations! If you have questions I`m always eager to help and share my ideas, tips, etc. Just give me a sign what you want to learn...

Sneak Peeks!

I`m so happy to be again the Guest Designer for March at My Creative Scrapbook. I LOVE their kits so much! They are full of yummy goodies! The big reveal will be on March, 5th but I wanted to share with you some sneak peeks!

What a day!

What a day, what a day....!!!!
I was on my way to work today when I decided to get some money for my lunch later on. Well, when I opened my handbag to take my wallet, it wasn`t there :-((( I called my hubby and told him I forgot it at home. But it wasn`t at home...it was stolen :-((( All my bank accounts are now blocked and my credit card as well. You guess it already, don`t you? It`ll be a busy day tomorrow.
You see, it`s not my happy day today and I`m really not in a mood to do anything tonight. I think I`ll just watch the telly.

A New born blog!

Hi there! I`m proud to announce my new-born baby ...Gerry`s Scrappy Life...

Finally, I have a blog too. I really don`t know from where to begin ??

O.K., I`ll do it easily by posting my last layout. I used Webster`s pages Your Life. Beautiful. pattern paper and the great new Prima clear stamps. I hand cut all the leaves from the pp and I can tell you it took me some time till I got it finished ...I wish I could program my Cricut to do it for me ...lol !
