Well, I want to share with you the layouts and the card I sent to Webster`s Pages to apply for the DT call.

....and as I wrote already in my previous posts, this card was especially created for Webster`s pages.

    And now a little bit about me:

•  I can say my style of scrapbooking is whimsical, romantic and shabby chic.
•  I am a detailed kind of scrapper. I love giving little touches to my pages.
•  If I can only get two Webster's Pages products for a project I would choose the pattern paper and   the second product I would choose (It`s really difficult to choose only two!) are the stamps.   I love stamping and I`m so happy that Webster`s pages released these gorgeous stamp lines. 
•  I always find inspiration in my kids. 
•  I love company when I scrap and that`s why I scrap always in the living room where I can chat with hubby.
• My most loved techniques right now are misting, distressing and hand-stitching.

*NEWS*NEWS*NEWS* from Ingvild Bolme

Hi there!
I want to share with you some great news from my dear friend and so incredibly talented Ingvild Bolme. She released her own Prima Craft Tools and to be more exact about the name ~COMFORT-CRAFT TOOLS~....YAY to her and BIG CONGRATULATIONS!
The whole line was designed by Ingvild Bolme. It`s an ergonomic line, in her favorite color and there are different cutting and distressing tools to work with. All tools were designed to fit both right- and left-handed crafters. It`ll be very easy to cut the smallest details and create vintage paper edges with them. Something I just LOVE to do in my work!
All I can say is ....I want them....and I can`t wait till I begin working with them.
The Comfort-Craft Tools will be released today at CHA and will be available in Spring 2011.

MME layout challenge #19

Hi there!
As I wrote in my previous post I have some extra time this month and that gives me opportunity to play along in a few challenges.
Here is one more layout I created for My Mind`s Eye layout challenge #19.

The awesome sketch is provided by oh-so-talented Anam Stubbington and I love it!

I used "Lost & Found" MME collection and that was only a tiny part of all the goodies I recieved when I won the Honorabale Mention for blog challenge # 16.

And a few close-ups....

I wanted so much to make it look as if my daughter pulls a "sleigh" holding the rope. It`s been some time since I last played with cutting out the photos. (Check HERE , HERE and HERE) 

Anyway, I was completely blown-away when I saw Ingvild Bolme`s layout created for Dusty Attic which you can enjoy HERE and I thought I`ll give her effect a try. Thanks for the inspiration, Ingvild :-)!!!

...and a closer look....

The "Cool" embellishment is actually a mirror magnet that you can use on your refrigerator and of course it was for a long time stored in my stash and finally I decided to use it. I first colored it with a Copic Marker and it got this gorgeous melting caramel look. Then I used Gesso to achieve the snow effect.

The ZVA crystals were also colored with Copic Marker.

A new layout

Hi there!
I have some extra time this month to scrap for myself and I thought I would share what I created so far.

This layout is based on Prima`s BAP January sketch provided by Anam Stubbington and of course I loved playing with it.

I made my own background by using three colors Glimmer Mist (blue, orange and a little bit of pink). I used Prima`s packaging (the brick pattern) and the rest is cutting, hand-stitching, and arranging the flowers. I know it`s perhaps "shocking" the orange-pink color combination but for me it`s perfect :-))...I actually love this color combination and I think I`ll use it more often...

~ January Stamping Challenge at My Creative Scrapbook~

Hi there!
I`m so excited to host the first challenge for this year and it`s all about..........
STAMPING 
Create a layout (a double-page layout is also possible!) by using stamps! You can use stamps anywhere on your layout....e.g. make a background, stamp on your photo(s), use a flower stamp to create your flowers....simply use your imagination....you can do so much with stamps...and I`m so curious how you`ll use them!
The challenge begins Jan. 1st 2011  and it ends Feb.1st (at midnight). I`ll pronounce the winner on Feb. 4th! No need to mention that the winner will be HAPPY to get a Yummy pize ! 

Be sure to post your layout(s) BOTH in the MCS Contest Gallery and in the challenge thread!

Dusty Attic Challenge

Hi there!
I`m sharing today a layout I created for the Dusty Attic January (2011) Challenge. I used three of their chippies - a dress form, little frame and a crown. It`s me on the photos with my daughter Leanne. The photos were taken by Jeroen Kransen, a friend of ours, while we were visiting him and his family in Rotterdam.

My layout is based on the sketch provided this month by Trina McClune. 

I used as a background a Creative Imaginations pattern paper and for the rest of the page I used  two sheets of Shabby Green Door pattern paper.....

And of course a few close-ups....

DT work for My Creative Scrapbook - Limited Edition Kit

Hi there!
Here I am again...with my four layouts created with the Limited Edition Kit at My Creative Scrapbook . This month`s kit, like every other month, is absolutely delicious and full of sweetness. The Limited Edition Kit is featuring the Pink Paislee`s "Sweetness" line and it`s as sweet as it can be!

I love that photo of my son. He looks so peaceful, innocent and so much himself . 

I began making the layout by creating my own fence.....

I used a Martha Stewart`s border punch and what I did was to cut out small pieces of cardstock so it`ll look like a fence. I didn`t outline any lines in advance! When I finished I used my embossing pen to give some dimension.

For my second page I used again a photo of my son Alexander....Don`t you just like this cute face?

I colored the lace with a Copic Marker....and these cute birdies were cut out of a vintage image sheet which is included in the kit!

My next layout...a baby photo of my daughter Leanne posing for me very strangely ;-)))...and more "Sweetness" for my sweetheart mixed with Prima...

All the crystals were colored with Copic Markers. I used the package of the Prima flowers (under the birds) which I colored with a CM as well.

and finally my last project....a page of Me :-) This photo of me was taken in Amsterdam.

I cut the butterfly out of a white cloth doily and I colored it...
