Exhilarated ~Webster`s Pages~

Hi there!
I`m sharing today a layout I created featuring the new Webster`s Pages collection "ALL ABOUT ME".
Love the color combination in this beautiful line and it was a pleasure to create with it.
My layout is based on white card stock (as usually) and I used two colors Glimmer Mist ("Frost" and "Key Lime") to co-ordinate with my pattern paper. The mask I used is from Prima Marketing.
I used three unmounted stamps from Webster`s Pages - "Springtime", "Beauty" and "Every Moment"...
And I used three of Martha Stewart`s punches as well.....

I cut the bird cage with my Cricut.....

I added to The Fabric Ticket  a piece of "Dazzle Me Gems" bling.
The sign post was stamped twice with "Springtime" stamps and I used foam pads to create more dimension.
The lace you see is from "All About Me" Trim Card. I added two push pins to decorate it.

Now, a little bit more about the chipboard I used here. This chipboard is from  Twiddleybitz  and I found it in "Scrapdelight" scrapbook store".  Originally, the chipboard was with a clock but I removed it and instead I stamped a clock using Webster`s pages "Every Moment"  unmounted stamps....
If you want to see the whole "All About Me" collection you can see it -------> HERE
And if yo want to see the latest products of Webster`s pages you can do it --------> HERE

Hope you enjoyed my post today! Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such sweet comments!
Have an awesome Sunday!

SCRAPDELIGHT NEWS

Hi there!
I hope everybody`s enjoying the weekend...
Today I want to share some news with you all....and it`s about a scrapbook store in The Netherlands that I simply adore....and I mean it.....The name of this scrapbook store is "SCRAPDELIGHT" and I love it  ...you know, you have sometimes this feeling that you just feel at home and cosy....this is the way how I feel when I visit this so beautiful place....
Did I mention how sweet, helpful and beautiful  the owner of the "Scrapdelight" is? Her name is Michelle Ploeg and you can meet her   ------>  HERE.
Well, as you can guess already my post today is dedicated to "SCRAPDELIGHT".
I introduced to Michelle a new Polish company "The Scrap Cake" and I`m so happy she was impressed by their collections and agreed to add them to her assortment. This is the only scrapbook store in The Netherlands where you can buy the collections of the Polish brand "The Scrap Cake".
Anyway, after some talks and e-mails ;-) we agreed I`m up to give a workshop with The Scrap Cake collections. And we fixed a date....September 17th, 2010...YAY!
Needless to say I`m on top of the world :-)
And the Dutch version :-) ... Voor meer informatie klik ------> HIER

A Free Class at Miss Art`s Papercrafting School

Hi there!
Yes, you read it right! Miss Art`s is hosting a free class this weekend and it`ll be great to join us there!

The kids are heading back to school and you should to!

The headmistress at  Miss Art's knows that new backpacks, school supplies and first day apparel can reduce a crafters budget to milk money, so for this weekend only she is offering you a tuition free class.  Beginning on Friday,  August 26th, you will have 3 days to check out one of our most popular classes for free, no subscription needed.  In "The Secret Garden," the talented Stacy Cohen teaches you how to create a shadowbox efffect on your layouts by adding dimension through layering and creating beautiful floral clusters. Stacey even earns a little Extra Credit by providing you a step-by-step demonstration on how she creates her trademark crocheted page accents. We hope to see you in the class room and if you enjoy our class that you'll be kind enough to leave an apple or a comment for the teacher.

Have a great day!

Chatter-box ~The Color Room~

Hi there!
I`m a day later with my post.....
Yesterday was a release day of a new palette at The Color Room and this week`s palette #72 is nothing but amazing! Such soft colors and such awesome sketch to play with....
I loved creating this layout.......
When I saw the palette I knew the first thing I would do is to choose the colors I need.......I took a photo of the ink and the embroidery threads just for fun :-).....
To create the background on this Pink Paislee`s (Parisian Anthology *beautiful butterfly*) paper I used three colors ink (see photo above)......
My journaling was created with JustRite stamps....
The telephone was stamped, cut out and used as an embellishment. I used Webster`s Pages unmounted rubber stamp "Call Me"......
The Butterfly, the swirl, and the alphas are all "Imaginarium Designs" chipboard......
I used Spellbinders (Donna- Salazar - Rose Creations) to make the flowers.  I used them before and created other flowers with these die-cuts and I love them. If you want to check my previous flowers check them -----> HERE

Can`t wait to see what you`ll create with this awesome palette. Please, take the time to check what my DT buddies created as well ---------> HERE

Wishing you great weekend and sending smiles from sunny Holland!!!!!

Friends ~Webster`s Pages~

Hi there!
I`m sharing today a layout I created especially for our  Webster`s fans at Facebook.  I used one of our newest collections "Western Romance" which I simply adore :-)

As usually I began my layout on white card stock.  I did some masking and misting. The Glimmer Mist color I used is "Delphinium" and according to me it`s the perfect color for this beautiful collection.
I did here lots of fussy cutting for my layering. I used Martha Stewart punch and Marianne Designs die-cut stencil.

The oval chipboard frame you see is from Dusty Attic - Vintage Frame (DA0254)...
I used Webster`s Pages unmounted rubber stamps Every Moment to stamp on the background....

Do you see the little cute Purple Whimsy Heart?  It`s one of the many new whimsies released this summer and it`s a perfect touch to your creations. It`s available in 6 colors. You can check them ----> HERE
The bird was cut out from the Newest Postcards. They are size 4"x6" and come as a set of 20 in a clear box. You can check them -----> HERE

Me & You ~The Scrap Cake~

Hi There!
Happy Gerry here :-)! The sun is shining here in The Netherlands and that makes me so cheerful & delighted!
Today I`m sharing a layout I created for The Scrap Cake. I decided to mix two of the newest collections - "Summer at the Seaside" and "The Bright Side of Life".
I began my layout with these two pattern papers....
I used here Prima Marketing clear stamps to create my background paper.
Then I used Distress Ink (victorian velvet) to change the color in order to match my other layers.
The title "Me & you" and the boy & girl silhouettes are laser-cut chipboards from Imaginarium Designs! Thank you, Jane and Nat !!!! The chippies  were first painted with Gesso ---> yellow paint -----> Glimmer Glam and the last step was to add some Stickles......

The bird, the nest, the butterflies and the house are all stamped with Prima Marketing clear stamps and then cut out to use them as embellies.......

The cute heart you see on the photo was made by me. The branch from the vine was too long and I cut part of it. I didn`t want to throw it so I fold it in a shape of a heart.
The clouds were cut out of "Summer at the Seaside" collection.....

If you live in The Netherlands and if you dream to have these so beautiful collections.....your dream can come true because the Dutch "SCRAPDELIGHT" store sells them. You can check the collections -------> HERE
As every time I hope you enjoyed my post today!
I`m so thankful for all your support.......you are awesome!

Wishing you all a creative week!

Memories ~Once Upon A ...Sketch~

Hi there!
It`s August 15th and we have another amazing sketch at Once Upon A... Sketch challenge blog. Our sketch designer Nadia Cannizzo always creates the most amazing sketches and has the most amazing journaling criteria to play with.
Today I`m sharing  my take on the sketch.....

Journalling Criteria: Write 2 sentences from the lyrics of your favourite song. Journalling can be in any language and can be any type i.e. handwritten, alphas, printed, rub on.

You MUST combine our journalling criteria with the following sketch.

Things to consider when playing along...

**This is an international blog, so anyone can enter
**You are allowed to create a card, layout or off-the-page item based on the provided sketch and additional journalling criteria. If you are creating a card or altered item you only need to include a quote.
**You are also allowed to flip or rotate the sketch or alter it to suit your needs, but please make sure its still recognizable.
** The deadline for this challenge is midnight August 31st , Australian Eastern Standard Time . The Design Team will vote and the winner and the Top 5 project will be announced soon after the challenge has finished.
**You may enter as many times as you like and combine this with other challenges.
For a complete list of the rules please check ------> HERE

I created this layout with the beautiful line from The Scrap Cake  - "The Bright Side of Life". My layout is based on white card stock and I did some masking and misting. I "moved" the sketch in the middle of my page.
The beautiful flowers you see here are from Prima Marketing and they are present for me from a dear friend Ingvild Bolme. Did you know she also designed these beauties? Thank you, sweetie :-)

The girl you see on the photo is me...lol.... I used to play the piano and sing a lot. My High School was a Russian school and we studied everything in Russian. We had a lot of musical activities back then and I sang different Russian songs (together with a friend) at stage. My journaling is about a Russian song I used to sing which I loved ( and I still love). It`s called "Million Red Roses" by Alla Pugacheva.
The photo was original black and white. I added two colors Distress Ink from Rangers. I`ve done this technique before and I just love the result. If you want to see my previous project with this technique you can do it --------->  HERE

My journaling was framed in a beautiful chipboard from  Imaginatium Designs ..... and the three small butterflies come from Imaginarium Designs as well....
I hope you enjoyed my post today and I so hope to see you playing along at Once Upon A ...Sketch challenge blog!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog!
Wishing you a sunny and happy day!

Alex ~Webster`s Pages~

Hi there!
I`m a little bit late with my post but finally I could post my Guest Design team lift at Webster`s Pages. Like every month we (the girls from the Design Team) have to create a project inspired by our guest-designer. We are so pleased at Inspire Me to have this month so creative and so talented  Brit Sviggum.....her style is unique, artistic and beautiful.
This is my layout inspired by Brit....
My page is based on canvas. I used Gesso, Gel Medium, Glimmer Mist and I stamped the edges of my background. When I applied the Gel Medium I spread some beads over the canvas.
I used the brand-new collection "All About Me" and I added a few embellies from the older Webster`s collections.....
And a few close-ups for you....
The Cottage Window (DA 0196) is a Dusty Attic laser-cut chipboard and it`s available to buy by "Scrapdelight" shop in The Netherlands.
The chippie was first painted with Gesso. The leaves and the grapes were colored in with Copic Marker and the rest with Glimmer Glam. I added red Stickles to the grapes....
The little cute blue bird is from Webster`s pages and you can see it -------> HERE

I hope you enjoyed my post today!
Have a great sunny and happy week!
