Hi there!
I have a layout to share with you today created for Webster`s Pages with their fabulous collection "Everyday Poetry".

I love the *NEW* Butterfly Push Pins. I can use them endlessly on my projects.

All the blossom branches were cut out from the pattern papers.
The Dazzle Me Gems come from "Sunday Picnic" collection.

The "Message to you" embellishment was cut out from the pattern paper.

The title is a chipboard phrase from Imaginarium Designs.

I really wanted to share one of the newest products of Webster`s Pages - "PERFECT MOTIFS" PAD. This is something I was dreaming a manufacturer will produce :-)))) and it`s definitely a MUST-HAVE product!!!!!

~Once Upon A ...Sketch~

Hi there!
It`s the first day of March and it`s time for the new sketch at Once Upon A ...Sketch challenge blog. Even though I didn`t manage to create a layout this month I`d love to share with you the awesome sketch Nadia Cannizzo created for us. We also have the amazingly talented Iris Babao Uy guest-designing for us this month and we have amazing sponsors & prizes.
I`ll do my best to create a layout next week or at least I`ll give it a try :-)

The focus of your journalling and the theme of your layout has to be based on YOU and something/s that you are really good at. Don't be shy! We are all good at something as small or as big as it might be.

Ideas for journalling: being a good mum, cooking, talking, understanding people, organising, cleaning, gardening, studying, computers, fashion, exercising, scrapbooking, good at my job, maths, languages, writing , drawing, painting, photography, running, craft, sewing. Maybe you can talk about an aspect of your personality..your sensitivity, your 6th sense, your patience, your strength or bravery, your ability to stay positive.

Remember that you are allowed to also create a card or altered project based on this sketch and theme and instead of the journalling criteria you need to use a quote.

You MUST combine our journalling criteria with this sketch..

Step by Step layout ~Manor House Creations~

Hi there!
It was my turn to post today at Manor House Creation`s blog and I prepared a "Step by Step" layout for this purpose.
I mixed here two collections of The Scrap Cake - one of the new collections "One Moment in Time" and "The Bright Side of Life".

I mixed also 4 different MHC flowers and I hand-made three flowers from MHC blossoms.

Perhaps you noticed already that my photo is not perfect (my daughter has a light spot on her head) BUT it didn`t stop me to scrap it. I`m not a fan of Photoshop and I didn`t want to edit it.

You also see that I don`t have a title. Instead I used a sentiment I printed from Internet. It`s kind of a message to my kids. And of course I`ll make this layout once again so both kids will have a copy of it one day :-)))

And here is my project.....

STEP 1

My very first step was to cut the frames out of the pattern paper. N.B. I used it on my layout turned clockwise (only once)
From the other pattern paper I cut carefully the frame and I used the rest of the paper as a background of my layout.
Then I hand-stitched the inner side of the frames.

I also cut out the leaves so I can add them later on
On the layout you can see that I colored the edges of the leaves and I embossed them.

STEP 2

Then I began making my hand-made flowers. I chose the big white MHC blossoms.
I used Glimmer Mist to paint them.

I chose the little grey MHC blossoms to add in the middle of the blue ones.
I layered 4 blue and 4 grey blossoms. Before I glued them to one another I embossed them - just a little bit.
They were all glued in the middle and folded upwards.

SOME ADDITIONAL IDEAS

You can INK the edges of the blossoms.
You can STAMP the blossoms before you attach them to each other.
You can EMBOSS them using EMBOSSING FOLDER (Time Holtz, Cuttlebug, Sizzix, etc.)
You can CHANGE the shape of the blossoms but cutting the point edges and turn them into round shaped blossoms.
You can add "GLOSSY ACCENTS" to the centers to give even more dimension.
You can decorate the edges with "STICKLES"

My hand-made flowers were all cupped i.e. I chose to be folded in one direction.
I added a big bead in the middle.
I added also stamens in the hole of the bead

STEP 3

My next step was to prepare the chipboard pieces I wanted to use.
N.B. All the chippies on my project are from IMAGINARIUM DESIGNS.
They were all painted with modeling paste.
Then painted partly with Glimmer Glam.

STEP 4

This big flower was created with three different MHC flowers.
The brown one you see underneath was cut into two and used as "background" for the other two flowers.
The white and the light pink flowers were "piled up"

TIP
Don`t forget to remove the stamens of the brown and white flowers and store them. You can always use them later when you create your hand-made flowers for other projects.

STEP 5

My last step was to adhere everything on my layout.
It`s always a puzzle for me to find the right place for everything ;-) ... BUT in the end I solve the puzzle successfully!

I added extra leaves that I cut out in advance to the clusters of flowers.

The sentiment was stamped on a piece of pattern paper and then cut out.
The stamp I used is unmounted stamp from "Unity Stamps"

All the collections from Webster`s Pages are uniquely beautiful but they all have one thing in common - their Webster`s Family. And because they belong to one family I find it so natural to mix all of them on one project :-)

2 Precious Hearts ~The Scrap Cake~

Happy Monday!
Finally I can share a layout created with one of the NEW collections of The Scrap Cake - "My Private Happiness" designed by Karola Witczak

These sweet hearts were cut out from the pattern papers.
I made them part of my title - in stead of using the word "hearts" I used the 2 cut-out hearts.

You`ll find a sheet of pattern paper in the collection full of cute scalloped circles with sentiments which are perfect embellishment to all your projects.
I cut out a few of them and used them on my layout. Some of them were cut in two and placed apart.
N.B. The same sheet of pattern paper has a gorgeous frame which I cut very carefully and then used as a frame for my layout.

My title letters were cut out from the pattern papers and adhered with foam pads.
When I cut out the scalloped circle from the pattern paper I painted the white scallop parts with Glimmer Glam.
I used EK Success edge punch to mat my distressed (green) circle.
I also added a string of pearls to give some chic look to my layout.
The photo was matted with beautiful swirly frames from Marianne Design.

My layout was based on white card stock. First I did some masking and then I stamped (Tattered Angels clear stamp).
The "I love you so much" embellishment was cut out from the 6"x6" paper pad.
The big pink flower and some of the little flowers are from Flying Unicorn.

I have a layout to share today that I created for Webster`s Pages with their awesome new collection "Palm Beach". The name says it all - FUN*SUN*JOY!

I mixed three different punches from Fiskars (1) and Martha Stewart (2).

Imaginarium Designs

Hi there!
Today I`m sharing with you my first official projects created for Imaginarium Designs. Even though I`m using chippies on almost every layout I create I designed these projects especially for Imaginarium Designs Blog.
On the photo is my daughter Leanne (right) and a friend of hers Kiki (left). Kiki is a nanny child of a friend of mine - Susan.

Chipboard I used here:

ALL THE CHIPPIES HAVE A LAYER OF GESSO!!!!

Frame (IDFR0001) ***I used Distress Embossing Ink and SeaFoam White embossing powder.
Birdcage (IDS0009) ***For the birdcage I used simply Glimmer Mist.
Butterfly (IDS0002) ***I used a paint brush and I applied 4 different colors paint. Two Glimmer Glam and Two Glimmer Mist.
Word "Friends" (IDW0023) ***I applied Distress Embossing ink and SeaFoam White embossing powder. Then I added three different colors of Glimmer paint.
Long Swirly (IDFL0011) ***Originally the Swirls were ONE whole long piece of chipboard but I decided to cut it in 4 parts and to use it as small embellishments to my flowers. It was treated with embossing ink, embossing powder and paint as well.

And now my altered project. It`s a cheap bird-house (1.99 euro) I bought from a Dutch store ("Kruidvat"). It`s not the usual square bird house but it`s a flat one with a whole in the middle. When I saw it I knew immediately what I`d do with it ;-).........to use a Clock chippie in the middle and decorate it with beautiful papers and gorgeous flowers.

And Voila....this is the result......

Chipboard I used here:

Clock (IDS0006) ***I inked the clock with Color Box ink "Old Rose" and I added Ultra thick embossing enamel. Then I used a heat tool to melt it.
Words "Best Wishes" (IDW0008) ***I inked the phrase "Best Wishes" with Color Box ink "Old Rose" and I added Ultra thick embossing enamel. Then I used a heat tool to melt it.
Girl`s silhouette (IDS0023) *** The silhouette was treated with Distress Embossing Ink and SeaFoam White embossing powder.

Loving My Life ~ The Color Room~

Hi there!
It`s Friday and it`s time for my DT work for The Color Room. As I mentioned in previous posts our sponsor this month is Maja Design and we are working with their beautiful products.
Love the palette this week - palette #98. I don`t usually work with these colors but I like them a lot in real life :-)

And this is what I created...

I scrapped this photo of me once but I liked to use it here because of the colors of my dress :-)

And here are a few close-ups.....

The Heart Top Picket Fence (IDB0005) is a chipboard from Imaginarium Designs. I only applied ink to color it.
The gorgeous flowers are from Manor House Creations.
You can also see that I stamped on the white cardstock before I began layering my flowers. It`s just a little touch that gives a great effect.....

The hearts were cut with an old die from Provo Craft.

Once again - fabulous flowers from Manor House Creations.
The alpha stickers are from Webster`s Pages.

The Clock (IDS0017) is a chipboard from Imaginarium Designs
The chippie has a layer of Gesso. Then I painted it with Glimmer Glam and once it was dry I sanded it to give more vintage look. I dressed the numbers up with puffy paint.

TIP: Now about the matting of the chippie :-)

I used a mask from Prima Marketing. I laid it on a white cardstock and I used Distress Ink to mask.
While the mask was still attached on the cardstock I outlined the swirly shapes with a black fine liner.
When I was ready I removed the mask and I cut the masked part of the cardstock out.
As a final touch I inked the edges.

Dream ~GDT Flying Unicorn~

Hi there!
Happy Monday dear friends! Another week on its way and I`m ready to share lots of projects with you. This week is special - full of LOVE and PASSION!
I`ll begin this week by sharing an altered album I created for Flying Unicorn where I`m guest-designing this month. If you want to have a look what I created so far be sure to check this link ------> HERE

The moment I saw the mini album from KaiserCraft in "Always with Love" kit I knew I`m going to play with it.
The only photo I added here was the photo of me on the front page.

The very first thing I did was to paint the edges of the album with white acrylic paint.
Next step was to adhere the pattern papers.

Then all the edges were distressed with sand paper.

I added to each page a "love sentiment" instead of a photo.
Embellished with stickers, cut-ots and flowers.

I used a mini chicken wire mask for the masking.

Sweet 4 ~The Color Room~

Hi there!
It`s Friday and the new palette is revealed at The Color Room! This week`s palette #97 is a masculine one and it`s based on one of the awesome collection of Maja Design - "Vintage Winter" collection!

Because I didn`t have "Vintage Winter" collection I had to improvise and use my own stash to create this layout. And even though it`s a masculine palette I decided to use it with a photo of my daughter....

To create this layout I mixed 6 different brands pattern papers:

Magnolia pattern papers
Bo Bunny
Prima Marketing
Graphic 45
Making Memories
Basic Grey

And here are a few close-ups for you.....

Because I didn`t have flowers to match the pattern papers I used, I had to hand-made my own flowers.
The hand-made flowers were created with the help of Donna Salazar Rose Creations dies.

I stamped the background with LaBlanche silicone stamp.
The heart is from Prima Marketing pattern papers. The title letters as well.
The butterflies were cut out from Graphic 45 pattern paper.
The white cut out swirls are from Marianne Designs - Thanks, Corina! xoxoxo
The blue and red swirls are from Bo Bunny.
The black frame matting the photo is from Prim marketing Transparent sheet.
The heart was originally black and white but it was colored in with Copic Markers. It`s from Prima Marketing.

I used an embossing stencil to make the masking.
I also misted the background using Glimmer Mist (Blue and Brown)

The cute little birds are from Prima Marketing Transparent sheet.

A sweet tooth ~Webster`s Pages~

Hi there!
I have a layout to share with you today that I created for Webster`s Pages. If you remember last year we had guest-designers each month and we, the DT girls, scrap-lifted the guest-designer`s work.
Well, this year the tradition will continue. Our first guest-designer for 2012 is Leslie Ashe and I had such a blast to create a layout inspired by her work. It`s different to what I usually create but I like to be challenged - even in real life ;-))))

My layout is featuring the amazing BRAND-NEW collection "Everyday Poetry"

I used two sticker hearts from, old collections. This one is from "Hollywood Vogue"

And the heart on the left side is from "Trendsetter" collection.

And I also wanted to share a little bit of joy :-)....two photos that sweet Anabelle O`Malley shared with us.

Two of my layouts traveled all the way to USA and attended CHA 2012 this year....YAY!

Valentine Cards ~The Scrap Cake~

Happy Monday!
Don`t you just love February? It`s the month of LOVE, PASSION and TENDERNESS. To celebrate this dreamy-like month we, The Scrap Cake girls, are dedicating a whole week to her Majesty LOVE.
Even though TSC collections are not specifically designed for Valentine, we`ll show you how easy is to create something romantic.....

And.....I`m opening this ROMANTIC week on The Scrap Cake Blog with three cards I created for my sweethearts - my sweet hubby, my sweet son and my sweet daughter - they are my Valentines!

The small photo you see is a photo of hubby & I on our Wedding Day :-)!

All the cards are made with the gorgeous and so fabulous collection from The Scrap Cake - "The Bright Side of Life" designed by sweet Karola!
To create these cards I used a "Cheery Lynn Designs" die stencil ("Heart to Heart" doily)

Two solid hearts were glued only on the upper edge to create the base of the card.
After that the doily hearts were added.
N.B. I adhered the doily hearts only on two spots because I wanted to give more airy look.

I chose some definite parts of the pattern papers to cut the solid hearts and the doilies because I wanted to have a specific nuances on my cards.
My cards were combined with images from 3D cutting sheets.
I also added dimensional dots and ribbon.
And on one of the cards I hand-stiched.

The word "Love" is a chippie from Imaginarium Designs!

Guest Creative Designer for ~Flying Unicorn~

Brrrrrrrring Hello from snowy Holland....Yes, we have snow and the kids are totally excited about it and Me?, well, I`m cold...lol!

I`m so excited to announce that I`m guest-designing for "Flying Unicorn" this month. I didn`t even doubt for a second to say "Yes" because I do love everything they offer.

"FLYING UNICORN" STORE

And these are the three layouts I created so far.....

The two grapevine hearts were painted with white acrylic paint.
I did the masking using two colors of Distress Ink.

I first stamped the bird-cage (N.B. it`s not included in the kit) and the I applied the rub-ons.

I fussy cut a lot of those cute roses which were adhered with foam pads.

The cute angel is a rub-on which you`ll find in the Creative Kit.

Lots of layers, hand-stitching, punching, painting.....

The tiny flowers behind the wooden heart are rub-ons.

I used two colors Glimmer Mist for the (mist)-a-ble scallop ribbons.

The big chipboard heart was painted first with yellow acrylic paint, then with Crackle medium and then painted again with ivory acrylic paint.
The grapevine heart was painted with ivory acrylic paint.

And my last layout....

I doodled the white swirly "things" ;-) using white GellyRoll pen.

The cameo "trinket" is actually a rub-on which I applied on pattern paper and then I cut out.

"Once Upon A ...Sketch" and "Get Creative"

Happy February to you all!

Over at "Once Upon A ...Sketch", we are nearing the end of our first year and during this time we have noticed a huge amount of support from many countries around the world and we are incredibly lucky that our challenges are supported by so many people from all different parts on the globe. One of these countries is Greece, and we have come to realize that we receive many entries from such a small country where scrapbooking is so new, so we had a think and decided to team up with another challenge blog based in Greece and ran by our very own Irini Liolia called "Get Creative". How exciting! We decided to become "sister" blogs, because let`s face it .....most of us scrapping are women and is there anything stronger than a sisterhood?

Thus a new bond is formed between 2 challenge blogs.

Here is the sketch that the "Once Upon A ...Sketch" Design Team had to follow and the one my layout is based on. It is created by "Get Creative" DT member Elina Catchy

I created this layout with the brand-new collection from Webster`s Pages - "Sunday Picnic"

I masked and stamped inside the circle
The two photos were matted using Clean&Simple pattern paper from "Sunday Picnic"

The awesome chipboard title "Funny Face" is from Imaginarium Designs (IDP 0001). My son Alexander is such a Funny Face - perfect title for these photos :-)
I used two colors Glimmer Glam to paint the chipboard phrase.

Hi there!
It`s been some time since my last post.... I didn`t have time to scrap lately but I`m back to "business" ;-) and today I have a shaped layout to share with you.

We have a Patchwork Week at The Scrap Cake blog and we (the girls from the current DT) create layouts inspired by patchwork. I`ll be simply honest :-) and share with you that this is my first time I`m creating something like this.
I mixed two gorgeous collections from The Scrap Cake - "Cozy Xmas" and "The Bright Side of Life".

HOW TO:

I used as a background a sheet of 12" x 12" cardstock (in the color matching my pattern papers).
I punched 25 squares using a 3" punch.
I adhered them with glue.
I used a big plate to draw a circle and then I cut it out.

I did lots of hand-stitching - I know it`s time consuming but I love it and this is one of my signatures on my work :-)

The title "Love You" is a chipboard from Imaginarium Designs (ID 0026)...

The white flowers and the two creamy flowers are from Manor House Creations...

This post is scheduled and if everything is OK hubby and I are spending a long weekend in Prague - YAY - it was a surprise from him and I was on top of the world when he told me.

I created this layout for "Scrapdelight" - A Dutch scrapbook store. I used the beautiful "Sweet Nothing" collection from Kaisercraft.

Sunday Picnic NEW from ~Webster`s Pages~

Hi there!
I created another layout with the beautiful and so yummy collection "Sunday Picnic" from Webster`s Pages. I love the colors - so fresh and easy to work with. This collection makes me smile :-)

I also used another collections here:

The kites are 4 because of the photo of my daughter - it was taken on her 4th Birtdhay in June, 2011.

I stamped on the background using two different Webster`s unmounted stamps.

The bird was stamped twice, cut out and attached with foam pads.

Beauty ~Manor House Creations~

Hi there!
Today I`ll share a layout I created for Manor House Creations using their gorgeous flowers.

To create this layout I used two paper brands - "Shabby Green Door" and "Kaisercraft"
On the photo (below) you see the die-cut paper from Kaisercraft.
I completely fussy cut it.
Cut apart the swirly patterns and the flowers and incorporated them in my "garden".

I used only the pink Taneisha flowers on my layout.....

Love these little cute flowers. They have diameter of 3cm and are the perfect addition to all your "flower gardens" you create on your projects...

I pulled apart the big Romance flower so I can make a smaller one for my page....

The birdcage you see on the photo (above) was cut with my Cricut Expression.
The little cute tag "100% perfect" is stamped with Itty Bitty unmounted stamps ("Absolutely Priceless").
The hot-air balloon was also stamped with "Absolutely Priceless" Itty Bitty unmounted stamps.
It`s hardly to see but I stamped also the background using Hero arts mounted stamp.

The word "Beauty" (IDW0025) is a chipboard from Imaginarium Designs.
It was painted with Glimmer Glam.
I also hand-stitched.

The bug was also stamped with Itty Bitty unmounted stamps ("Splendid Things")...
I stamped it twice.
Colored it in.
Gave some dimension with my embossing tool.
Attached the two stamped bugs together.
Applied Stickles only to the upper bug .

The Color Room & Imaginarium Designs

Hi there!
This week`s palette at The Color Room is up - Palette #93. It`s an exciting month for us, the DT girls, because we were given new papers to play with.....beautiful papers from Meg`s Garden. This is my first time working with this Australian brand and I`m absolutely positive :-)

OUR SPONSOR THIS MONTH IS...

This is my take on this gorgeous palette....

The layout was based as usually on white card stock.
I misted, masked, stamped and hand-stitched on the background.
And I did lots of fussy cutting. The pattern paper is ideal for fussy cutting which I love to do ;-)
The edges of my cut-outs were once again finished with Copic Markers.
For the dimension I used my embossing tool.

TIP: While embossing try to do it both sides of the cut-outs to give more texture. And what`s more important is to emboss your cut outs in different directions - I`ll be preparing a video showing how I do it. What I mean by different directions is to try to achieve the effect that your leaves for example are pointing up and your flowers downwards.

The title "Princess" is chipboard from "Imaginarium Designs".
For the first time I didn`t use Gesso as a starting point.
I directly inked the word with Color Box ink (Old Rose), added embossing powder and used heat gun to melt it.

Storage boxes and Tips ~The Scrap Cake~

Hi there!
I have three altered boxes to share with you today that I use for my hobby supplies. I used the fabulous "Spring Awakening" collection from The Scrap Cake which is one of my favorite collections ever.

I have an enormous ( I mean it) pile of collected items (including boxes) which are waiting to be altered. These three boxes are part of the pile ;-). I recently altered them so I can store my mini bells and some of my natural materials.

What I first did with the boxes was to paint the edges with Crackle Paint ("Vintage photo").
Once the paint was dry I took the measures of the boxes and began preparing the papers.
N.B. All the papers I used were leftovers.

The pattern paper on the top was first distressed and then glued.
In the end I decorated the boxes with different embellishments like flowers, push pins, leaves, ribbon, etc.

And because we have this special week at The Scrap Cake blog, talking about scrap rooms and storage, I thought it would be fun to share with you how I store three of my favorite products :-)

I really have to admit that I have insanely BIG number of stamps - mounted, unmounted, clear, foam, etc. - as you probably noticed I love to make my own stamped background combined with other mediums ;-). Depending on the kind of stamps, they are all sorted and stored differently.

What you see here on the photos are part of my clear stamps (for the rest I have to buy more ring folders....LOL) - approx. 5.5" x 7"- which are stored in three-rings folders.
The folders are from the brand "Artemio" and are sold with pockets for the stamps but I actually don`t use the original pockets. What I do is buying separately Tim Holtz unmounted stamp refill pockets which fit perfectly in the folders.
I have 12 pockets in a folder.

These 12 colors of Glimmer Glam paint are the ones I regularly use and that`s why they are neatly stored on a spice rack and stay on my table all the time.
The other colors and the doubles I have are sorted simply in an ordinary metal box.

And finally my punches :-)

They are stored on a trolley which was originally meant to store vegetables ;-). The moment I saw it in the shop I knew I`d use it for my punches. It`s comfortable and it`s easy for me to reach and use the punches.
I must say that I have one more of those trolleys and I use it for some of my craft tools, ink and acrylic blocks.

I hope you survived ;-) this long post and enjoyed it. I promise tomorrow it`ll be shorter ;-)

Birdcage Tag ~Scrapdelight~

Hi there!
I`m sharing today a tiny tag I made for "Scrapdelight" scrapbook store. I made it last year for a special Inspiration challenge ran by Corina van Holstein.
Well, it`s a very easy tag and there is not so much to say but I thought I`d share it. I`ll be using it for one of my projects in the future for sure.....

I used Tim Holtz` die "Caged Bird" for the birdcage. It was painted with Glimmer Glam - "Espresso Bean".
I matted it with Webster`s pages pattern paper from "Winter Fairy Tales" collection.
The quote is stamped with Itty Bitty unmounted rubber stamp.
I made the blue flower using Donna Salazar`s "Rose Creations" dies.
The bigger flower and the leaves are made from clay. I`m teaching a special class how to make those flowers at Miss Art`s Papercrafting school. If you are interested you can check the following link -------> HERE
As a final touch I added here & there a little bit of puffy paint.

Well, I guess it`s time for my project now. This mini album is a limited edition item designed for a class kit at "Seriously Scrapbooking".

I "dressed up" the mini album with cute Prima Marketing papers & embellishments....
I stamped, inked the edges... and of course I hand-stitched here and there

The sentiment is a rub-on.
I didn`t go without any fussy cutting ;-)

TIP: Perhaps you know from my previous posts where I mentioned a few times that I use Copic Markers for the edges on my fussy cut embellies. I`m giving this tip once again because it`s very effective and it just makes the cut-outs to pop up. I`m a CM user for years now and I love the various techniques and effects you can achieve with them!

The word "Memories" is a rub-on
The "shoe-house" is a cut-out from a photo I took while we were in an Amusement Park here in The Netherlands.

Just for FUN to show you how big this shoe house is in real life. On the photo you can spot my sweet hubby and daughter ;-)

I`m so happy I can share my first layout with all of you featuring the ***NEW*** Webster`s Pages collection "SUNDAY PICNIC". I simply love the happy feeling this collection radiates. Our theme this time is New year's Eve. We would like you to journal about your feelings around this time of year, or tell us about your most memorable New Year's Eve. Where were you? Who were you with? What did you do? Why is this one memorable? Note: the photo that you use for this challenge does not have to necessarily be from New Years Eve. For example, if you spent New Years Eve with your family you can have a photo of your family taken ANY time of the year.

My top 15 of 2011

Hi there!
What a year! Looking back at what I`ve done I must say I`m absolutely satisfied - in my personal life and in my creative life or shall I say in Gerry`s Scrappy Life ;-)
I didn`t even count how many layouts I created in 2011 because there are a lot, really a lot. Mostly I shared online and of course I have a lot in store that I must keep for myself for now ;-)
As I wrote in one of my previous posts I wanted to share my top 10 for 2011. Well, it was difficult to choose only 10 and I decided to share even more of my favorites :-)

WOW, I can`t believe I have so many followers without even having a giveaway on my blog.....Thank YOU for always leaving me encouraging comments... I also want to Thank YOU for all the e-mails I get from people inspired by my work and sharing with me...I`m also THANKFUL to all the creative people that inspire me ...

This very moment ~The Scrap Cake~

Hi there!
Today I`m sharing with you my last layout for 2011 that I created for The Scrap Cake.
I used the gorgeous versatile collection "Cozy Xmas" which I love to use not only for winter/Christmas photos but also for everyday photos - like this one of my son Alexander which was taken in an amusement park.

What I mainly did while making this page was to distress and stamp.
I used cling stamps from Prima Marketing (#551094). I colored the stamped patterns in.
I embellished my project with lots of cut-outs from the pattern paper.

Some of the stamping was done directly on the pattern paper. I also stamped separately on a piece of pattern paper and then cut it out to give more dimension to my layout.
The bird is a rub-on from My Mind`s Eye.
The Birdcage was cut with the help of a Cricut machine.

The little stars are made of wood. I colored them the with Copic Markers.
